What do you think of Starbucks' new Pike Place Roast?

I tried it today I was shocked at how horrible it was. It seemed watered down but also had an atrocious, strong taste. Does anyone like it?

If I didn't know it was from Starbucks, I would have guessed Dunking Donuts or Mcdonalds premium coffee.

I haven't tried it yet, but I also read that it usually depends on each store on how it will taste, so if it's good in one place it's going to be bad in another. Usually Starbucks is overpriced and you can get way better coffee at a locally owned (not chain) coffee shop, that way you get fresh roasted coffee, not stale coffee.

i think it's one of those new flavors that you have to smell and drink at the same time.

i agree. it almost tasted like it was stale. but they had just brewed it.... maybe its just an aqcuired taste...lol

I think that is the one they give out free on Wednesdays. Anyone I know who drinks it likes the taste and loves the free price.
