I think it's a good ideal & will bring alot of business.And plus the commercials are rather catchy.

I think it's great!! Subway footlongs have been my lunch & dinner for the past couple of weeks! Half of it for lunch, the other half for dinner. Plus there is so many different ways to make your perfect sandwich!

Yes I have heard of it and have taken advatage of it. I think its a good idea to allow customers the chance to try some different sandwhichs and bring in lots of business.

$5 for a sub that barely has any meat on it. Uhuh! Rip-off! If I wanna footlong I'll just take my black a** to Wawa.

It's a good deal if you're getting just the sandwich. I don't think most people eat the whole thing in one sitting anyway, so it's like getting two meals for $2.50 each. Not too shabby.

I love Subway sandwiches! Fresh and filling, and not greasy like other take out. $5.00 is a great price, I think.

It's a good idea in the sense that if you only get a sandwich, you're getting a good deal.

BUT if you're getting the meal with it, add in the extra $2, and you're actually losing money on most of the sandwiches (ie Veggie Delight, cold cut, meatball.)  The only ones you're saving money on are the ones that are more costly sandwiches (ie club, melt).  And even then, the savings is only about 50 cents.

Believe me, Subway, even to celebrate Jared's 10th Anniversary, isn't about to do something that undercuts their profit margin.

While it's a good and cheap value, it's gonna get Jerred (and you) FAT if you eat that much in one sitting regularly.

Well, it is a good deal, BUT I can't really take advantage of it! :o( I get Subway sometimes when I'm at work and I always get a 6inch, but they won't charge me $2.50....it'll be more! And I dont really wanna get a footlong, if I'm not gonna eat it then.

I think its a desperate plea to the consumer since Subway's business has been shakey. But I'm not knocking Subway's food. Its great food but pricey and takes time. And time is not what one has when on a 30 minute lunch break. I am supposed to take an hour, but I use the last 30 so I can get out of work early.

i think its great i went there twice since they had it i mean i can't eat a whole footlong so it makes for two meals and its chep and still tasts good
