im not sure what i think of her, she must be good at what she does to have been doing it for so long but i havent seen any follow ups where theyve said she was right, and shes quite arrogant when she answers questions, she speaks over people and is very abrupt, but i still watch her every day so something about her keeps drawing me back lol

I believe in spirits and stuff, and I know she brings closure and peace  to a lot of people.  I would have to experience it for myself before I made a belief or not out of it, though.  I think there will always be some things that defy explanation, no matter how hard scientists or religious people may try to explain or discredit them.  Just because it never happened to a certain person doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I personally thinks she's a fraud who prays on people.  I haven't forgotten about the parents who asked about their son that had been abducted and she told them that he was dead.  And yet they found him alive.  

I think that Sylvia Brown, and all the other "psychics" have probably studied some psychology so they know how to read people.  They take that knowledge and prey on the hopes and fears in order to tell the people what they want to hear.  They prey on the insecurities of the people who are seeking "knowledge and wisdom" from them.  Whether it's good news or not, they tell the people what they want to hear, nothing more.  Because if they don't give the people what they want then the people will stop coming.

You know, she's always telling people when they will meet the man or woman of their dreams by giving them the year or month or whatever, but they've never had a show where one of those people come back and say, "she was right!"  and show the clip and then show Mr. Right standing next to the woman who asked.  She's a little too "out there" for my taste, but I do give her credit for helping the police with missing persons etc.

She is a little far from reality. They make her seem smart or always right on TV..  but have you read her books or seen her website? She is kind of crazy.
