What do you think of Tasmanian Premier, Paul Lennon standing down?

He has been a big fighter for a Tassie AFL team, but if you know much about him, do you think that perhaps all of the Gunns Pulp Mill commotion has finally "pulped him"?

Do you think that perhaps he has stood down because there might be some evidence of corruption about to unfold? There has already been a lot of trouble within the Tasmanian Labor Government with two deputy premiers having stood down in the past 12 months.

  1. I don't know what to think, either.

I don't know the political goings on of Tas - but if he was a plugger for an AFL team to be established in Tas, he should be admired.

I don't think they will ever get a team there. There is not enouigh money or sponsorship to satisfy the AFL commission.

  2. I'm glad he has gone he seemed like a environmental terrorist and I was thinking the same, wouldn't be surprised if he was involved in some sort of  corruption scandal  he seemed like a sleaze ball to me. GO LIONS good win on the week-end

  3. I'm pleased he has stood down.

I wish more of them would do the same. As to football, I don't know how involved he is.

  4. Good riddence to him as a taxpayer

as a footy lover the tassie cause will miss him
