Noo as a Turkish man. i can say that not all Turkish men r cool.

They haven't been changed by the influence of feminism the way that North American & most Western European men have.  So they will be much more direct in their approach to women and more romantic in that sappy, cheesy way that American men consider to be "g*y."  

True story.  Once when I was at work, two Turkish guys came up to the counter.  I could tell right away that they were foreign, as their demeanor towards me was different than American guys'.  They were a bit fresh with me and then one of them said "Are you married?"  I was too shocked to answer at first, then he goes "Oh was that too direct?"  All the while, the other one was bending down to check out my hand, to see if there was a wedding band on it!!
