What do you think of Turks?

It will be appreciated if those who have been to Turkey comment.

having been 2 times in turkey and not only in istanbul or west coast, i can say i really love turkey and turks. in the west i met lots of tourists catchers. but (because i wanted to speak turk and not english with turks ?) i also met really interesting persons. I still can remember playing domino all the night with young people in Antalya, speaking hours abt Armenian and Kurds people in the fresh air of the night in Nemrut Dag, sleeping as a guest in Malatya, debating abt Europe in the ankara-eskisehir train...

so, yes, a found great experiences with turk people.

but, i think it's (partly) cause i'm a man. the turk society till has problems with men/women relations. i still remember i was lost in a little town, lookin for the road to Konya. i saw 2 people, asking for help. they didnt give me a look, they didnt stop to speak together, they didnt see me. i asked 2-3 times, before i understand they wdnt answer cause i was a man and they were women. i cant help thinking: and what if i was hurt to death ? wd they have help me ?

as long as in turkey that sort of thing can happen, i'll be shoked.

Ill be honest with you....... the men are a little TOO friendly and dis-respectful for my liking.

When you see a girl is with a partner........ yet you blatantly stand there and stare and try to get her attention..... that is extremely disrespectful.

Turkish males seem to think they are some kind of God and can  get any women to sleep with them, tell them how much they love them all for one thing.........

THEY WANT A PASSPORT TO THE UK - simple.

Nothing special...

I just wonder why turkish people believe they are european?

Is this because they have a little piece of land on our side of the Bosphore straight ?

In this case , why Spanish people are not considered to be African (they have a little piece of Morocco)

France could be south american (because of Guyana) ...etc...
