What do you think of a Diamondbacks - Angels world series?

I think its unlikely, but would be nice to watch.  Webb v. Lackey game 1. Haren v. Saunders game 2 perhaps.   Good pitching matchups.

Will P.; he's asking for your opinion, not who's going to win/ make it to the WS. As of the question, I think it's gonna be really attractive with the Vlad Guerrero, Garret Anderson, Torri Hunter outfield comparing to Adam Dunn, Conor Jackson, and (I forgot who). Brandon Webb and Danny Haren will create alot of problems for Joe Saunders and Ervin Santana, but this is one thing I can make a sure bet on: The Angels will win, and they will win because of their bullpen, not their bats or their starting pitching.

I think that the Angels have a very good chance at making it to the World Series this year seeing as they're currently the best team in the American League. As for the Diamondbacks, I'm not so sure. If I had to pick a National League team for the World Series, I'd put my money on the Cubs.

I don't get why people are so low on the D'Backs making it.

As an Angels fan, of couse i'd love to see the Angels playing deep into October, and the D'Backs have a shot, if they can make the playoffs.  All they have to do is win the NL West and it's anyones game.

The playoffs are way different than the regular season.  The playoffs aren't about depth, they're about your best 15 guys playing their best ball of the season.  If Arizona gets in, i'm not sure who would want to face them.

I mean, in a 5 game series you risk facing Webb and Haren twice, and a dosage of Randy Johnson...that's a pretty daunting task.  I'd rather face the Cubs, Cardinals, Phillies, Mets or Marlins than the D'Backs, or the Brewers for the same reason.

Sabathia, Sheets and someone else...would be tough to get through.

Angels sure, but the Dbacks may be a question mark.  The acquisition of Adam Dunn doesn't put them over the top for me.
