You must live in a bad neighborhood... Either that, or you are guarding something VERY valuable inside your house :)

It might make your home an even bigger target for more experienced criminals, but I doubt it. It will probably just raise curiosity.

Depends on why they want them, maybe they had trouble with theft or someone hanging around their house when they weren't home....

Burglary and home break-ins are a problem these days.

Good idea for the owners. There have been two break-ins in my neighborhood recently and both were caught by someones surveillance cameras.

If you are concerned that your actions are being recorded, just remember that almost no one has time to review recordings unless something happens. They may even be fake cameras.

Such a house makes it easier to identify thieves, robbers, or any tresspassers to the house.
