  1. Good luck finding a job.  I have been on the search for 5 years.

  2. it seems fun

teaching little kids their ABC's and colors

but then u have them bad kids who wanna fight and cry evey five minutes so i don't know

i guess u just have to keep them busy

    i would try it

  3. If it's your life's passion, then by all means do it!  The love and admiration you will get from the students will warm your heart on a daily basis.  Your heart will also break from the lives some of these children live outside of school.  You may be their only source of warmth and compassion.  You will have long days, some pretty stressful, but when a student comes up to you and gives you a big smile, you know you have made a difference in their life.

  5. I teach kindergarten and I absolutely LOVE it!!  I can't imagine doing anything else with my time.  Teaching goes so far beyond just loving children, but that's a great start!

    Pros:

It's rewarding - you get to see the results of your hard work on a daily basis.

You influence the lives of your students.  You are a positive role model.

Kindergarten is still fun.  The kids are excited about school, they are anxious to learn and they are at such a fun age.

You get to see so much growth and change from them throughout the year.  I can't believe the difference in the babies that walk in my room in August and the students that leave in May...it's an amazing transformation that I wouldn't miss seeing!

    Cons:

Salary's not great.  It's steady and it's enough, but you'll never be rich.

Teacher's are pretty under-appreciated, everyone thinks it's the easiest job out there.

Parents can be a nightmare (and they can also be your biggest support)

There's a lot of pressure and stress.  Kindergarten is not what it used to be.  My kiddos come to school in August not knowing their letters, some can't write their name, some don't even know their names (seriously, this has happened).  When they leave in May they are expected to recognize, read, write and use several sight words.  Be reading at an appropriate level.  Add, subtract, count fluently...the list goes on and on!  There's a lot to accomplish in 9 months and the list keeps growing!

It's a great career, though.  I love it!  Good luck with whatever you choose!

  6. Its a great job.You should have a lot of patience to handle children. But since you love children I think you will be a great teacher to them. You just need to study more on the behavior of every child so that you will have a wide understanding about them.. Pros.. well you will not grow old in your heart. Your lessons and your teachings will be applied by the children at home and in their daily life up to when they will grow up. Cons..  your must have dedication to your work to be effective. It should work hand in hand in loving your work even if the pay is not higher..
