What do you think of an industrial piercing?

Question

This may seem odd. Unfortunately we live in a society where people judge others by their appearance before they even know them and unfortunately I am a person who cares a little bit about how people look at me. So if people could tell me what they think of an industrial piercing that would be great. :)

Oh, I <3 your wonderful grammar, no sarcasm at all. This is true, we do live in a crazy society, but, you shouldn't care, because most of them are just that- crazy. If someone starts calling you a s**t or saying your trashy, then you should care, but as far as looks go, anyone who has something to say will always envy you in some way or another. I personally like the industrial piercing, I don't like when people get crazy colored bars & balls for it though, I feel that looks silly. Black or silver will do. I heard it hurts a lot though, only thing keeping me from getting it :).

oh it would look cool, as long as you have the attitude for it.

i don't want one, but i want a belly piercing and people are gonna call me a s**t for it but i don't care cuz i know i'm not one.

I got one, and everyone thinks it's pretty wicked! Who cares what people say, they're just jealous ... right? :) Anyways, I got an industrial piercing just to be "different" because I know a lot of people from Edmonton here in Canada don't have industrials, but rather just normal cartalidge piercings. Just remember though, an industrial piercing takes about a year to officially heal, and you'll find that you won't be able to sleep on that ear for a a couple of months, but I think it's all worth it!

i'm 14 and have one, it hurt really bad after i got it pierced,

not during though haha,

but then again i pierced my own cartlige when i was 12..

mine gets bummed into and hit a lot, so it hurts ):

but i think they're really cute and people are like "wow! didn't that hurt??"

yeah it did, but i think it's worth it(>

I think in some level, it will be booming especially in teenagers. It is a nice idea to be thought.

you should get them  because you want them. its a commitment. people will judge others no matter what so theres no point in caring what others think. piercings are an expression of ones own body and personality. if you want the piercing go for it not because of what other people say because that would be their choice, not yours. go for it:)

They're pretty cool. I heard they hurt a lot though...

I would never get one for myself since I'm rather conservative but the friends I have with them love them and they look awesome. Good luck =]

Personally, I love them.

But then again, I have one.

It does send off an impression to some people, good or bad.

But I don't care, I enjoy it.
