i mean i love watching it mlb but watching baseball in the olympics is like watching college baseball, it's just not the same.

Never seen it. Not included in the British olympic coverage. Wouldn't mind seeing it though, baseball sounds similar to rounders. That's a fine game!

I think baseball should stay. It's a great sport to have in the Olympics. I was also looking forward to seeing cricket in the Olympics, but if they take out baseball, they most likely won't add cricket.

Honestly, I can't say I'll miss it. It's baseball season over here right now, so it's not like we won't get to see at all. And part of what I like about the Olympics is seeing sports that otherwise don't get a lot of TV air time or attention.

baseball is boring. never seen it on tv. no wonder its being kicked off due to 'worldwide appeal', no one cares for it !

There are a lot of arguments for keeping it and there are many for sacking it.

Those that want it will have no issues with the USA never winning a gold in it. I say never because they will never send our best as they are busy playing at home in the major leagues.

As far as softball goes I am sure that it is simply a matter of time before parity is reached there as well. Enjoy the gold medals now as they will certainly be fewer and further between in the future.
