Not tacky unless you are dressing to intentionally show it off. The only time it should be seen by others is if you are at the beach. Other than that, having one is not tacky. I think they look nice.

I think they're stupid, and yes, kind of S****y.  I don't like lip, eyebrow, tongue, chin, nose, or nipple pearcings.  Just the good old fashioned ear and cartilage pearcings thank you very much:)  xxxxx

i wouldn't say tacky, i just don't like them. and i would never get one mainly because it seems like it would hurt like freakin crud!!!! but thats just me :)

I don't think that they are tacky. I think it really depends on the outfit and the person. If the person wears 4,000,000 layers of make-up, then it will look S****y.. But if you really look natural and pretty, it'd be fine.

i have mine done when i turned 18 but i got it before every 13yr old girl was begging their parents to let them get one... i still think they are cute but not on someone who is under 18....bad parenting to me
