  1. I personally loved living in Morocco.  I was there only for 6 months but it was a very comfortable, interesting and educational experience for me.  The food was great, everything was so fresh and healthy.  I walked every day, most often to the beach we lived near to.  I loved the architecture and the rich culture.

My husband and I plan to return to live there in the next few years, InshaAllah.

  2. I was in Morocco last year from August through November to get married and I fell in love with the country and the people.  The culture/traditions are so varied depending on which area you go to.  The people are the nicest i've ever met.  They do not judge a person for anything such as race, religion, looks, culture, etc.  Life is more simpler than in America and is much more slow paced.  The cost of living is a lot less than it is here, but the poverty and unemployment rate is high and of course the salaries are considerably lower(this depends on which area you want to live.)  There are some unique employment opportunities for English speaking people(if you're interested email me through Y!A and I'll send you a website).  The weather is nice year round though it does get a bit hot in the summertime(at least for me it ws since I'm hot natured) and in the wintertime it gets a little chilly at night.  I loved the country so  much that I want to live there when I retire if not sooner.

  3. I enjoy it, but my husband (who is Moroccan) and I decided that we are moving to America so our daughter has more options in life. We both agree that we want her to do more with her life then  the woman here do. My mother in-law thinks this as well. She actually is educated and was the head secretary of a company here in Morocco, and as a professional woman she feels that our daughters options would be limited. Morocco is a great place but once you have children involved on must consider all options.

If you are Muslim by chance you can have your children attend an Islamic school in the states so they have friends that are also arab/muslim.

  4. very nice place ; you will like it specilay in summer

  5. Well i found it very different.......it has good and bad....the good things I would say....is I liked the fresh fruit and vegetables brought in each day fresh from the local farms and because the chemicals to spray for bugs a way to expensive they dont spray BONUS so organic..the chickens were fresh to just pick and wait all done while you wait.....the price of food was very good to so its cheap to live there in comparrison to the west which is way toooo expensive.

I found the weather good allround not to extreme but it depends where you live I guess....people are nice...but still you have to be carefulle especially being a tourist muggings are common.....unemployment is high...men seem to hang around coffee shops if they only new in the west this is womens territory...manners are lacking....but I guess this is just something not handed down...so they can do things that you might find gross......I feel there are not enough daily activities taught....I mean for instance in the west the governments provide a lot of free courses for training in careers or even just hobbies for both women and men I mean I did not see what women did with there time a lot just watch telle and goss...but there is so much to learn in todays day and age I just think its a shame that there not doing this and serously if someone was thinking of starting a business I would reccommend craft I think it would just boom beading sewing embroidery supplies the women would just love it to learn some of these arts.....I tried to buy some of these things to no avail....anyway...just a tip off the iceberg but a little of what I have observed hope this was helpfull...

  6. I am living there now and I love it. There is no place in the world like Morocco! I love everything about it and wouldn't live any where else. I like the atmosphere, the people and culture. I'm just happy to be home where I belong :)
