What do you think of brain drain from INDIA?

I mean to say, irrespective of engineering specialisation of a student he/she is being picked up urgely by the software services firms in India n abroad. What will happen to the domain knowledge in various fields which should support research works in India????

Observing from last few years the following;

1. Gradually improving GDP,

2. Reverse trend in brain drain, in recent past.

3. Increased Global awareness, among Indians.

If you unable to participate in growth, keep your fingers crossed, and watch patiently.

Well, dear, Indian engineers are preparing quotations for govt. suppliers, 'record room' of library in universities are filling with academic research reports.  But, their brains are productive for 'alien' socities.

We have 'very productive' use of research papers while power failure -- handy fan.
