I love cheerleading. I just started cheer camp today. What I hate is the stereotype that cheerleaders are stupid. We got a bag with candy in it today and on the bag there was a poem that is really true. Here it is.

Cheerleading is not what everyone thinks

its not just a bunch of girly girls wearing pink

its a talent-filled game that takes effort

I don't care what anyone else says, IT IS A SPORT!

It is hard being judged by your peers

and being interrupted when you're doing you cheers

with boos or whistles from the guys,

and the look you're given by the students' eyes.

Not all cheerleaders are stuck up

sometimes I wish the school would just shut up

Why can't cheerleading just be fun

instead its a student fun-filled pun.

So you cheerleader haters, please change your mind

get to know one, and I think you'll find

we are ALL not bad and some are nice

we don't go to school to give fashion advice!

When I see cheerleaders I think wow they're preppy. But I guess I wouldn;t know the feeling because my school doesn't have cheerleaders.. =[[

very intelligent . reson is thier practices are more physical demanding , plus last longer than any other aport , for this reson restricted study time to stay at g p a average . better atheletes than the teams they cheer for . no room for any small error . players on the field make mistake , other teammates to cover . cheerleaders dont have this option . it is a high demanding team sport.
