  1. I lOVE iT! so much can be found on ebay for so cheap!

I've never sold anything on it, personally but it must be an excellent way to get rid of c**p you don't need...

I wish there wasn't so much rubbish to trawl through though, if only there was a way to filter it to your preferences exactly...

  2. I've been on it for the last 5 years and now it's not a patch on what it used to be. It's flooded with far eastern cheap trash and trying to sell on there now is a joke

  3. It is useful but it's not a replacement for a shop. You'll sometimes find hard to get hold of stuff there. Sometimes you'll be able to sell stuff you previously thought no one would ever want. One mans c**p is another mans gold so to speak. Also it's a good place for getting quality goods second hand and therefore cheaper. Bottom line is it's primarily an auction site and everyone likes a bargain.

  4. I find it very good, but be careful, before you pay for your item check the seller’s feedback. It shows a lot of the buyer’s comments from that seller.

  5. ive had a few problems,i paid for 2 items,totaling 450 gbp from 2 diffrent companies.

i had no answers to e mails, phone calls.in the end i threatened legal action, and that ended it.it wound me up that e-bay dragged there heels, and then said that it would take up to 20 days after the first complaint for them to look at the matter.....

however,i paid 3.50 for a usb bluetooth, the seller reported me for not paying, within 24hrs i had a threatening e-mail from e-bay that i would be struck off,or something like that.fortunatly i always save the e-recipt,even though i proved my innocense i had no appolagy.

i mean come on,i get conned 450,and they um and ah,then some guy misstakenly thinks i owe him 3.50,and there all over me like a rash!!!

    uuunnnnnnnnnffffaaaaaaaiiiiiiiirrrrrrr...

  6. none yet but hopefully i will get my stuff today or tomo!

  7. I love it! My hubby and i buy and sell on it all the time! It is easy to use and those behind the scenes do thier job correctly to keep it all safe, secure and fare. Great fun it is!! In my experiences it is great!!

  8. Generally good - did have an incident were I paid for an item and never received but got full refund from paypal so was OK.

But buying second stuff is far cheaper at car boot sales and you get to see what your buying and no postage cost - Books I buy at boot sale for 20p-50p they sell for £3+ - crazy wish I had the time to sell stuff on there but to time consuming for me x

  9. generally good, but they charge far too much to sell and for paypal fees.

  10. eBay is really good, however, some of the people that use it are not. It is very easy to get round these people however, just make sure you read what you are purchasing.

For example, take a look at the video in the source. If that buyer had just read what she was purchasing, she would never have got in to that situation.

Also, while the seller was stretching eBay policy, she was not actually breaking it, as she did clearly state what the item was for.

Think about it this way, if you rent a house, you sign a contract of things that you and the estate agents must do.

If, for example, the small print of that contract says "the tennant must not reside in the property" you would have to abide by that whether you read it or not, because you agreed to it by signing the contract.

An extreem example, but in the same way, the buyer agrees to what they are buying on eBay by making a bid for the item as it is described, it is their responcibility to read the listing.

Anyway, as with anything in life, just be a little carefull, and it will be good!

  11. good experience as in , i got what i ordered but i find it all a bit too dull and can't be bothered with it. Postage & packaging charges by some sellers take the urine.

  12. I like it, as a buyer.

I mainly buy low value electronic goods and CDs, there are bargains to be had and if you look at the seller's profile carefully, there shouldn't be a problem.

Example:  I bought a usb charger for an iPod shuffle for £1.99.  The official Apple item costs £18 + .  Same applies to cables etc.

  13. Have bought and sold about 300 items. One bad incident but got it sorted so over all really good and saves a lot of money on certain items.
