What do you think of filipino nurses?

i heard they are really caring above all races, but some are just after the money..

well any nurse SHOULD be really caring, regardless of race. as for the "after the money" part, i guess its more like practicality for us, filipinos.

but generally, what i think of filipino nurses is that there are too many of them :))

nurses should be all those things they mentioned but you can't blame Filipino nurses. It's a difficult life in the Philippines with all the political controversies and economic degradation.

Your question has a tinge of racism...or maybe, you're just curious.  Honestly, every nurse should be caring and thoughtful...it's their job.  They go into the nursing field to TAKE CARE of sick people and whether, you are Filipino or not, shouldn't be the case.  It's just whether you are up for it.

You can't generalize an entire group of people. I'm sure some will be as you described, but others are probably *******.

Any and all Nurses should be caring...

And, you can betcha all Nurses, Doctors and everyone else for that matter is in thier profession for the money!  So, whats new? :)

There is no 'special race' that is more caring, more loving, or anything else.  It all depends on the individual and how much compassion they have toward others.

Quite industrious, conscientious, meek;  humble; dedicated ; caring , compassionate and have the best interests of their patients in their hearts as most nurses do. They are good listeners.    They are not overly concerned about breaks. They go that extra mile in their nursing duties.

They're like all nurses, either they're in for the money or they really want to help people, or even both. I'm pretty sure a lot of filipinos are just looking for money and the caring just comes with the deal. Why wouldn't some filipinos be after the money? They come all the way from the Philippines and want to help there family, that's why they want/need the money. That's why I wouldnt care if they just do it for the money. Anybody could be caring, so I don't think its a race issue.
