  1. bring'em.

  2. With the cookie cutter car of tomorrow all is the same.  Who will notice?

It's not like it use ot be.  Buy a car Saturday, race it on Sunday and re-sell it again Monday.  Ahhh,  the good old days.  Man I miss those cars.

Is Honda really coming to Nascar?

  3. Let's look at the long distance future of NASCAR:

    year 2050:

Auto's entered:  Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubichi and

Chevordoge, the last remaining auto born in the USA. when

    GMC, Ford and Chrysler merged.

  4. yeah ok maybe in your dreams, jackie chan.

  5. heck no toyota are bad enough thats why smoke is leavin jgr

  6. I didn't even want Toyota's here. I for the most part got over it when Rowdy went to JGR, but never really liked the idea that he drove one. (ignorance, I suppose)

But the question was asked a couple days ago about "American" cars in nascar, I read someone's answer that really enlightened me quite a bit, now I can honestly say, I'm finally at peace with Toyota, and I'd be equally okay with Honda.

I like it when people on here make me think outside my comfort zone..

So as far as Honda in nascar, sure why not?

  7. Those are 2-speed manual transmission cars. They'll only work on the short trac's

  8. It's all just change. But you know the cool thing about motorsports? If you take all the names and emblems and badges off the cars and the drivers and their uniforms, it's still just pure competition. You can race anything but only one man is going to win. It's just a question of; Do you want to play?

  9. I'd like it. NASCAR wants to grow internationally, so having more international relationships will help.

Though at the same time, I'm not saying for them to abandon their roots.

  10. Why not? This is the land of opportunity. Let's see what you've got. The more competition, the better. I can't think of a compelling reason to keep 'em out.

The whole "American made" argument is bogus in today's economy. There's not purely American car made anywhere.

  11. You wont see Honda in Nascar in the immediate near future unless one of the big 3 bail out (ie Ford, Dodge, GM). Honda is heavily investing its resources to corner the hydrogen fuel cell market. This will be the cutting edge technology that transforms our vehicle market from a different resouce beyond petro. Thier CEO put out this statement a few months ago.....

  12. We have to put up with Toyota already, thats enough..

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  13. Terible, I hate the thought of forign cars in NASCAR

  14. Why not.  Its a free market system here in America, right?  Competition is always good for business.  As long as they are made in the US and they fit the NASCAR template, let them in.
