I think it would be fun! I have a fire-pit and a big tree in my room! Your a good Mom,don't listen to what others say just because it is an unusual thing to do.Being unusual and getting your child to use their imagination is not bad,but very good.It creates an individual person,which is the way it should be.

If it's just there that is not right.

Especially if you have people over that want to see your room, like your parents' friends.

If it leads somewhere like downstairs, or if it has a use like putting hooks on it to put purses or things on it, it won't be that bad, I guess it just matters why the person wants it in their room.
