  1. What I really want to see is a fight between Kimbo and a guy like Wanderlei, Shogun, Anderson Silva, Big Nog, or really any other top MMA fighter, just to show all the flaws in Kimbo's game.  He's just another Mike Tyson fighting in a different sport.

  2. Very little skills.

  3. Like said all ready he has yet to prove himself in the world of high level MMA and I doubt he ever will. I think how ever he is a cool fighter and one I would love to see be great.

  4. i don't understand all the people that knock kimbo.  seriously, the guy has been training in MMA for maybe a year tops.

some guy above said he wants to see him fight guys like anderson silva, wanderlei or big nog! are you kidding me?? how does it make any sense to put up a guy with such little experience against guy who hae been training and fighting for over a decade??

one thing i do understand people being upset about, and that includes myself, is that he's a main event fighter with such limited experience.  HOWEVER, you can't get mad at him for that.  for this you have to direct your anger towards elite xc and cbs.

lets be honest, if someone came plucked you out of some backyard brawl and said "hey we wanna put you in a safer fighting environment, pay you good money and make you a superstar" we would all jump at the opportunity.  So good for kimbo for milking this situation for everything its worth.

and who knows, with a few more years of training, maybe he will be ready to fight some of the big names.  he might be close to his late 30's by then, but he'll also only have a few years worth of hard training and fighting causing wear and tear on his body.

  5. Eh. He said it himself that he's just "Another squirrel trying to get a nut." He's not a high level fighter yet, but he's getting great training from Bas. It's going to take him time to get really good.

  6. He is a tough street fighter yet to be tested we will see i think it wont last i am not impressed he is a new school tank abbot and the evolution of this sport dictates that when he is tested it will certainly be the toughest fight of his life but tilll that happens we will see just how much  fight is in this dog has

  7. Hes not amazing. He hasn't done much to prove hes so amazing. He only had 2 pro fights. One of which was from an old washed out fighter.

  8. He's an entertaining personality. I like his fighting style. He's a street fighter, his punches are straight, and he doesn't waste motion. He needs to be put in against a ground fighter. He may lose, but the experience will help him. If he learns to sprawl, scramble, pass guard, Ground and Pound and defend submissions, He can maximize his striking, which is going to be how he makes his living. He's being groomed right now to be the next big thing, but his time is limited because of his age, and I don't think he'll get there. But If he soaks up enough knowledge, I think he can become an excellent trainer, and find someone who is like him, a brawler from the streets, to shape in his image. I wish him luck in his fight tonight, because his future in the business depends on his winning.

  9. The only way someone is going to beat him is to get him on the ground.  On his feet, no one is beating him.  I'm a fan and hope he continues to get better.

  10. He gets all the attention, but isnt the best MMA fighter. Hes all hype. Many of these fighter train for years, he jsut started and he's 34

  11. He sucks.  He has not fought any good fighters.  Only fighters that are over the hill or others low rate fighters.
