  2. Its a city that has a plethora of activities, and food experiences. Lots of things to see and do. However, I found it too "busy" for my ways. It is a fast paced city. But, people are not as "cold" as those from Toronto.

  3. I've been to Montreal ounce and I loved it!! It was a great experience for me. Experiencing the Olympic Stadium..... having seen the great night life there it's just great! Oh and it's great for partying! I loved the city. The people were so nice and I just had a blast! It was a great trip away from Toronto!

  4. I live in Montreal, what everyone says is correct, what they forget to mention is the long cold winters... November  to the End of April there is snow on the ground.  It's not fun for that.  I love Montreal 'cept for the winters they are just way too long.

  5. Having lived in three major Canadian cities, including Montreal for 12 years, I'd have to say among those that Montreal ranks . . . 3rd. Okay, on a good day, maybe 2nd.

Like others mentioned, it's great for partying, if you're a uni student and into that sort of thing. It's beautiful with the mountain. And it's easily walkable and accessible by transit. Otherwise, I agree about the long winters, high taxes, language inanity (and general political inanity), and unfriendly people. Don't know which part of Toronto someone else was referring to, but I've found Torontonians 10x friendlier and more helpful than Montrealers! Sorry!

  6. i like the whole environment of the city, the culture, the natural beauty and plenty more things, but i sometimes find the snow to be insane, the enlish/french lanquage barrier to be a challenge and the taxes more than what im used to, but other than that theres great shopping and good education and jobs
