What do you think of my FFL team I think I did okay but my friend said I had a horrible draft.?

This is my first time in FFL.

Standard League 10 team. I had 1st pick. 10 players a week. 2 Flex positions Rushing Touchdowns worth 10 points.

The I made lots of trades.

Derek Anderson+ Roy Williams for Chad Jonhson+ Carson Palmer. Turns out he did that trade because he also has Braylon and Kellen so he will get so many points and he had Jon Kitna but I did get Carson and Chad.

The next trade was Chargers D/ST+ Jay Feely for Baltimore D/ST and Adam Vinetari.

Then my final trade Felix Jones+ Chad Johnson+ Carson Palmer+ next year first round pick for Randy Moss, Stephen Jackson and Tom Brady he did the trade because he had Housh and he didn't know I had L.T and Larry Johnson so I will get major points with my running backs. He also didn't know I had Welker.

For my keepers I was thinking of keeping

2. L.T

3. Stephen Jackson

4. Larry Johnson

5. Randy Moss

6. Larry Fitzgerald

7. Wes Welker

8. Who ever has the best stats at the end of the season.

My friend said that kickers get the most points and that you should start kickers at every position. Did I s***w up?

It took me awhile to exactly understand this format but I think you have a great team for now and the future and your friend is wrong.  

Some of the trades you got away with are border line grand theft.  That should be a good team for the next two years.  After that, I might consider trading away some of them for younger talent.  You can make the call on that one.  

Again, your friend is wrong.  Kickers don't get the most points.  Sure, a kicker might get you 8 points a week but the difference in the #1 kicker and the #21 kickers are minimal.  However, the difference in the #1 and #21 RBs, WRs, TEs, QBs, or defenses is HUGE.

First of all, your buddie's an idiot.  There is a reason that kickers should be picked in the last round of any draft.  Last year, the difference between the #1 kicker and the #10 kicker in fantasy was less than 2 pts per game.  

Second, looks like you did very well in your draft.  Don't see anyone beating you this year.  I'm not big on Larry Johnson as a keeper, I think we have seen his best season already.  I would keep Calvin Johnson instead and keep an eye on Dwayne Bowe.
