shading shading shading!

a lot of your pictures seem flat-looking.

i know that tools dont make the artists, but try buying one of those clay erasers and a blending stick. they're not that expensive, but help out a ton on shading and blending.

also, on the black and white drawings, more contrast! make the darks darker, and use less of the neutral gray on areas that need to be bright. it's hard to get used to but it does wonders.

ok a jealous answer and some good ones,

are you learning how to spot the jealous answers yet? - - they are the ones that only answer to be negitive - why dont they keep their trap shut? - cause they cant, their jealousy in consumming and they must be nasty and say stupid things

its good practice spotting jealous fools for you here before you meet to many in the real world

im studying drawing at the moment and will be happy to get up to your level, keep at it we all start somewhere

keep putting yourself out there and stuff the jealous, let them enjoy their unhappiness

You have potential. I think you should work on shading. To draw something realistic- and to make it appear 3-d you need to pay attention to how the light falls on an object. Work on shading- dark/lights and also work on your pencil strokes. If the object is round, make your lines curve- you will be amazed how much more realistic your drawing will appear! Good luck and keep it up.
