  1. a good one i would say! what subjects did you take for a-level though? this might effect where you'll get in because of competition and entry requirements etc. if you already know what course you might be interested in for a degree you can check out www.ucas.com and see info about different uni's and what grades they require. hope you persevere and get those 4 a grades next year! you'll be set for life!!

  2. I think your exam results are stunning, and I hope you think they are a fair reflection of your abilities. You could get into  pretty good uni, I'd expect - maybe not an Oxford, Cambridge, London Imperial or UCL or Manchester, but it all depends on your subjects. As does my next piece of advice....don't just look at university as your only option. There are many employers out there who are looking for bright, articulate A-level students to recruit. Some of the big accountancy/consultancy firms would rather take raw talent and fashion it to fit their own ethos, than  take a graduate in media studies who's spent three years getting bladdered and now thinks the world owes him a living bcause he's got a student loan to pay off!

University isn't for everyone; if you're good you can always rise to the top in an enlightened company, and if you can't rise on your own merit rather than wearing the right badges, would you want to work there anyway. The benefits of a university education are slightly more dubious now than they were some years ago, now that everyone goes there. (But then, A-levels in the 1960s and 70s were closer to a current degree anyway.)

Whatever, work hard and always try to give a good account of yourself.

  3. Depends wt course :) You drop a grade from as to a level...

so probs 3 Bs next year...

    you'd be going good. :D
