I just got done with my draft. We are a 10 team PPR league. I had the first pick. Here is who I drafted...

QB- Matt Hasselbeck (bye week 4)

WR1-Larry Fitzgerald (bye week 7)

WR2-Torry Holt (bye week 5)

WR3-Calvin Johnson (bye week 4)

RB1-L.T. (bye week 9)

RB2-Marshawn Lynch (bye week 6)

TE-Zach Miller (bye week 5)

K-Rob Bironas (bye week 6)

Defensive Team-Tampa Bay (bye week 10)

Defensive Player-DeMeco Ryans (bye week 8)

Bench RB- Brandon Jacobs (bye week 4)

Bench WR-Chad Johnson (bye week 8)

Bench QB- Donovan McNabb (bye week 7)

This was a tough draft because as you can see, we only have 3 bench spots. This is a league I play at work, and those guys take players at wierd time...for example: we had a huge run on TE in the 4th round, I didnt get sucked into the run and went with my TE Sleeper for 08.

My gameplan - 1)Take Kicker, TE, and Team Defense with my last three picks..

2) Watch bye weeks and do not do more than two of each bye week and no same byes at same position...

What do you think??

Also have you heard how healthy Chad Johnson and Torry Holt are?

  1. Holy c**p. That team is amazing. Good QB, Great Wide receivers, Amazing Runningbacks, good tight end, good K. Amazing defense. Spectacular back-ups. This team gets an A+.

  2. Amazing team if it is a 10 team league.

How did you manage to get both marshawn Lynch and LT

  3. Is this an 6 team league???  What the heck?

  4. great team i would try to trade your bench though for a better QB

  5. Nice going! You obviously have done your homework, especially making sure you don't lose points on bye weeks!

  6. Looks very good, your only issue is little nagging injuries. Hasselbeck left practice with a back problem (tightness), Chad Johnson (shoulder), Holt also has an injury problem. But if healthy you should have a great year. I have a 10-team PPR draft in a couple weeks and i would take this lineup and not even draft.

  7.   HAVE A NICE START.

  8. You starters look pretty good, I'd just be worried about depth but thats difficult considering you only have 3 bench spots. I wouldn't really trust McNabb as a quality backup just because of his injury history. I'm not sure how well Calvin Johnson is going to do this year I think he's been hyped up a little too much and he doesn't have the most ideal situation in DET (where recievers go to die). Also Fitzgerald has some question marks with his starting QB and the ARI receivers haven't lived up to their billing since Boldin's rookie season

But why is your defensive player DeMeco Ryans? I would think you could get one of the top ten defensive players in the league and he only had 2 sacks and one INT and FF last season which should get you major points in your league.

I would just try to sure up the WR position, add a quality defensive player and possibly deal McNabb for some more help if you can swing a deal

  9. I like your team. Your QB is decent, your RBs are good, and your WR are not bad.

According to one of the websites I read this morning, best case scenario for Chad Johnson is returning week 1.  Worst case scenario is returning week 3.  I haven't been following Tory Holt.

Your backups are good, too, I would check and see who McNabb plays week 4, and see if there are better available QBs, because I just don't trust the Chunky Soup anymore.

Good luck, and hope your team stays healthy!

  10. ok
