Thats a good idea... because I have retired now... but better still can you find me a spare field with trees all the way round it and build me a nice little house on it. I can order my food and then you can drop in  by helicopter.... I just want peace and quiet after working sixty years for my Country.

I'd never get home again with my poor arthritic knees.  What about wheel chair users?  Oh and the collapse of the economy if we had a lot of prolonged rain and everywhere was flooded.  I'd think again.

You've just given Bradford (West Yorks) the Oscar for the potentially most fuel efficient town in Britain. All you have to do is revive the mills on Canal road and the sweat shops down Manchester Road..

Getting home again?  With a simple tackle and pulley system, like on coal slags. Imagination lads, get with it.

Canals: dead right lad, just that the Leeds canal and the River Aire byepass Eccleshill. Could still get up with levers and puleys.
