I have been off the scene for a bit, - partly playing with my new toy! - Believe the Hype, this thing really does accelerate, it handles with pinpoint accuracy and smooth to boot!

With the Dura Ace carbon clinchers, 12/27 cassette and a compact chainset, you can tell its built for climbing!

I plan a SRAM Red upgrade at a later date, Any comments regarding this?

  1. A fine looking heap if I ever saw one.....jack be nimble

  2. SRAM Red. I must be the only person who hates SRAM. I can't quite put my finger on why either (EDIT - Yes I can - Over-priced and over-hyped. I really don't like their new method of shifting. You can only change up one gear at a time - meh)...Why change from Dura-ace - it's not that much heavier.

Looks good though. If I had a white bike though, I'd probably be wiping it clean after *every* ride.

  3. Looks nice and comfy. Angles a little too laid back for my liking especially considering it is CF but probably very easy to handle.

Tom... yep, I think you ARE the only one that hates SRAM... have you ridden the recent stuff?

  4. It is a beauty.  I’m loyal to Shimano, especially towards the Ultegra group.  Frankly, when climbing hills, the gear makes the difference & allows a reasonable cadence.  Is it worth it to spend the extra money?

  5. Looks nice and I imagine its quick although i dont know a great deal about racers although i do know dura-ace used to be Shimanos top groupset.

  6. Looks fast (and spendy).
