What do you think of my letter to Tampa?

Its come to our attention that you will be in need of some Defense with experience for the next few years! We have just the guy for you. His name is Andreas Lilja and he makes 1.25mil a season and comes with a Cup on his resume. We are asking that you give us the rights to your second round draft pick for next summers draft. We have received many other offers for him so far and would rather trade him to you to improve your Defense since we wont being seeing much at all this season unless you make the SCFs. To ensure that you have a chance at making those Finals, we would like to extend this offer to you in good faith!

It's lovely. I'd say to make it more professional, though, you should indent at the beginning. Indentation is the first impression, after all!

Good letter!! But I bet the owners will find this letter to be nothing more than a piece of toilet paper. In their eyes, you don't know what you are talking since you are not either an owner, a scout or whatever but a just a hockey fan.

I think you may have better luck writing that letter to the Yotes since I think they have a better chance at getting someone on defense than Tampa. The Yotes will realize that they need someone who can not only replace Ballard but also someone to pair up well with Jovo and to have a chance at going far into the playoffs(if they make it).

Unless you don't want to see us upset Detroit in the first round? LOL Kidding. Detroit has dominated us!!!
