We all get tax credits based on the number of trees on our property. I'm being a little sarcastic here, but the possibilities are limitless!!!

  1. Man, I live in an apartment, I wouldn't be able to plant a tree anywhere around, I can get fined if I try to plant it on the street!

    I'm doomed!!!!!!!

Maybe I can apply for a tax exemption....

    I shall never loose hope!

  2. ya , wow

It should be along with Carbon Debit Scheme!

dedcuting the tax at source depending on the no. of Vehicles & Airconditioner you own or use..

  3. Al Gore read your question, and he's smiling,,,,,,,he owns a company whose only business is the trading of carbon credits, and it will make him a Billionaire!

  4. Ingenious. I suggest we extend this to count how many blades of grass there are on our lawns.

  5. I own 17 acres that is mostly forest so how much do I get. If I cut one tree for firewood and plant 5 more then I get more money? Can I count my own trees? I like it...

  6. I love the answers you got-- wonder what they will say when they see that CARBON TAX listed on the receipt for their computer, iPod, plane ticket, train ticket, bill of sale for a car- boat- motorcycle, the hamburgers you just bought, the ticket for the rock concert, and just about everything else you can think about.

These will be TRADED to folks like Russia who have accumulated (already) lots of CARBON CREDITS-- ! Think I am joking?------ read this:

  7. I do not want any Carbon Credit Scheme, tax or any other additional tax.  WE all pay enough as it is.

  8. I think that the idea is not too bad......but would make a whole bunch of people plant trees, which again is not too bad.....

  10. HAHA. Now that's a good idea.

  11. That depends on where these tax credits come from.

the family here that own the Saw mill, also owns thousands of acres of trees.

are they going to take my taxes to give to him?

    he is rich already.

Also what do you do about the farmer who grows the grain and vegetables that you eat.

would you stop having them grow food, and plant trees?

  12. it would definitely help to make out environment look better. No more miles and miles of treeless parking lots.

  13. I think the carbon trading scheme should only apply to those who believe man is responsible for climate change...see how many "true believers" would be left then!
