I decided to write a normal love story at first. The story begins like a classic teenage film.Girl moves to a new city and visits a new school. She gets to know everything and after some time she gets to know a boy. They fall in love with eachother and then comes the turningpoint. She soon finds out that the boy is a criminal and makes some illegal things, which run out of control. She knows that he puts her with everything he does in danger. She wants to leave him but can't.She loves him too much but can't live that way anymore.

What do you think about it?

  1. It sounds typical, like its been done before, but that's just a paragraph summary. It also sounds intense and romantic. It'll probly turn out really good, depending on how you write it. Very good and interesting. GOOD LUCK!!

can you answer mine? it's easy peasy. It's about my characters (in my book): http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind... Smanx if you do. If you don't, that's ok, too.

  2. I like the idea.  Throw in twists and

    turns.

  3. Sorry but it sounds like most stories out there.Girl meets boy. Boy turns out to be a bad guy. In the end he either dies, she stays with him, and or they both die.

  4. Your plot is somewhat basic.  It's in line with the boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl story type, although I realize there are some differences.

But the basic plot, like what you have described, isn't the important part.  The important part is what you DO with it.  If you want to get people to love your story, they have to care about it.  You can either do this with a really intriguing and intricate plot with lots of twists and turns (like The Da Vinci Code or Lord of the Rings) or you can make them care about it because they care about the characters.  If you can hook your readers with your characters, they will never want to leave it.  That's why people love books like Twilight, and why you may never have read Gone with the Wind or The Catcher in the Rye but you know who Scarlett O'Hara and Holden Caulfield are.

  5. I think it'll be great, I would read it. Go for it.

  6. that is good, very good. I would read it. If you decide to continue with this please e-mail me what you write.
