Please tell me if there is any floors in my poem. Honest critique appreciated. Thx.

The office friend.

Your eyes so hypnotising,

Like the sun it radiates,

Clothed in button blouse,

Constant on the run,

Friends network together,

Sharing knowledge right around,

Closed lips share conversations,

Play games and having fun,

Viewing our surroundings,

Quietly without much sound,

Intellectual capability,

So much greater than my own,

Mind travels unforseen Landscapes,

Horizons never peered,

Within a new dimension,

Captivate as well, intrigue,

World not like our own,

Slowly consuming me,

Interactive buttons,

Knowledge reached by -

Addictive touch,

My friend, my foe, my ally,

We always keep in touch.

  1. Either a real or online office coworker is being described as I read.  Interesting, especially since the first three lines could be describing an actual person or I guess a photo.  Not bad, overall.

Button blouse to me is a stretch for a metaphor, and no I would not have gotten it without you answer.  Could be just me.  The rest though makes more sense.  Perhaps a different line for that to set it up better?

  2. It's wonderful to be able to be in touch with people all over through our computers.  Did you try putting this in stanzas?

There are some good natural breaks.  I especially like the last two lines.

  3. Utter nethergarments. You have been 'Ianoed'.

  4. Would that be classified as a computer topic poem?  Hmmm well done!!  Cheers!!

  5. Its very good. I love you.

  6. Great job! I knew you were talking about a PC.

  7. i think this is getting to be too much.  a lot of these seem so well written.  but still missing something.  maby i'm just not in your demographic

  8. I really like this poem,

It describes the cyber reality that we are engaging in daily to greater and greater extents.

I am not sure what you mean about floors? I see cubicles and windows but no floor...LOL.
