You asked what we think of the quote - I think it sounds a bit victimized.  It doesn't help, give advise, make someone think deeply - it just sounds like someone who "got hurt" and doesn't know what to do.

No one can steal your heart, you choose to give it away and you can take it back anytime.  Waiting for someone is foolish - waiting for someone to give their heart is more foolish.  People do because they want to do, not because someone else is waiting.

Instead of whining over this boy - go find a new boy or better yet, learn more about yourself as a whole person.

That's what I think of when I read that quote.
