i have great grades and extracurricular activities, etc, etc but i am really worried about my sat 2 grades. i am good with sat 1. i got a 2200 but am retaking it to get a even higher grade. my first choice is stanford and next is columbia, wellesley, berkeley, etc. do i have a chance with the following sat grades??? i am taking 2 more sat 2s, french, and english. i may even retake some that i took.

my grades:

korean w/listening: 790

us history: 670

biology: 700

math 2c: 790

chemistry: 740

i did not study at all for us history, biology, and chemistry... i took them all together and the results are terrible.... :( can i only report the ones i like???

  1. I'm pretty sure that's way too many SAT IIs. Most schools only require 2 and at most 3.

The colleges will, of course, see the scores of all the tests you've ever taken, but like the SAT reasoning, most only look at your best ones or the ones that are required for a specific school/major. So if you look at your top 2-3 or the ones in the areas you want to study and you like them, then I'd say that's good enough.

  2. LOL terrible?  stop joking yourself, those are really good scores. and ur SAT 1 scores are extremely high. and no, you can't report only the ones you like, you have to send them all at one time, that includes SAT 1 and SAT 2 scores. (should have cancelled!) ur SAT grades are definetely good enough for those schools you mentioned, berkeley's average SAT score is 2020 ish, so you got way higher. so what are u worried about o_o
