What do you think of my schedule for High School? ?

I am going to be a junior and I was wondering what people think of my schedule for a college point of view. I know junior year is the most important. I am not talking Ivy League here, but i would like to get into a pretty good academic school.

1. Photography

2. French 4

3. AP US History

4. Trig.

5. AP Language and Comp.

6. Chemistry Honors

Is there anything you think I should change?

might want to drop Ap comp take just regular comp that's not really an important class and how ever try Ap chemistry not as hard as it sound beside it will look better on record that ap comp.i know you are think honors chemistry is advance yea but Ap its better than honors.everything else looks fine im sure you only need 3 years of a language but french 4 is really advance ill give Spanish a try besides in real life it comes more handy than french

you could change photography if you wanted

if its not related to the career you want, change it to an elective that does relate to your careet of choice

nope looks good, maybe some kind of fitness class to keep you in shape...but you have alot of hard classes colleges will like it! GOOD LUCK :)

If 6 classes is all your school offers, you are doing great! If you are not able to do more, be sure to volunteer and reflect that on your resume. As you can see from other answers, you are competing with students who attend schools with 7-8 academic periods instead of six.

Additionally community service and SERVICE-LEARNING took hold of our colleges and high schools in ~1999. Do everything you can to connect your volunteer experiences with your academic ones. If you can use what you're learning in school to better your community, your resume will shine that much more.

sounds just like my junior year, except I failed history. (hate that subject)

and I do choir instead of photo.

besides some of that, it wasn't too bad, and the college credit was great in the end.

my third semester of college, I'm officially a senior.  (you can do it too)

If i were you i would put the classes that you are the worst at at the bottem, becasue then just in case youd didnt finnish a homework assignment you can finnish it at lunch or something. But then also put your favorite class last so that you have something to look forward to all day.

1-Concert Band

A- AP US History

B- HOnors Biology

C-Spanish III Honors

D-Latin IV AP

E- Photography

F- AP English LIt.

G- Pre-Calc Hon.

H-Jazz Band

Colleges like to see languages, and consistency!!!

Colleges also like to see you make a B in the harder class, rather than the A in the regulars class.

So always try for the more advanced class if possible.

And try sports! A well rounded schedule is a MAJOR part or getting into college. Maybe band. lol

BUt overall looks reallllll good lol

It looks pretty good to me.. those are classes that are really simple and easy to understand except trig.
