When I look at the dark green leaves

As they dance to the humming breeze

I see myself, a happy little boy

Running in the forest, laughing with joy

When the young trees sleep bare

the leaves are red as they flaming spread

And i see myself, young and fair

Caught in a storm and fighting its dread

as the forest grows old

snow has brought it a white coat

and i see myself walking away

into the light, where heavens lay

  1. I would be interested to see the longer version. This is very good. You should be proud of yourself...really.

  2. I like it a lot. Especially because I love nature!

I felt like I could relate to the poem

Just wish there was more with more descriptions

But if short is what your aiming for then its awesome

    I just wanted more :)

  3. I really like it it reminds me a little of robert frost's berches - at least i think thats what its called =)

I really like it though keep up the good work!
