  1. oooooooooh he is soooo cuuuute!

    i love bunnies!

you should enter him in the contest (^__^)

  2. okay, firsts, what kind of competition is it? if it's 4-h, you should probably know the drills (ie. flipping him/her over, checking his/her teeth, sexing him/her, etc) If it's an online photo competition, you dont have to worry! your bun bun is uber cute!! lol  the answer to you second questio is much harder. the thing is, does your bunny have flyback fur, rollback, or plush fur? if it has flyback, the fur should be coarse, and a little rough. if it has roll back, it should be shiny, and even. If it has plush, it should look like a stuffed animal. aka not all that shiny. I have been raising bunnies for 5 years, so if you have any questions, email me!!

    :O]

  3. Ummm... What kind of contest? Is your rabbit pedigreed, because it doesn't look like a registered breed of rabbit to me. Another thing is that your rabbit is not tattooed. If you are planning to enter him in 4H or ARBA, then you are going to have to get that done before the show. Your rabbit is cute, but that doesn't always work when you are showing rabbits.

  4. what breed is he? he kinda looks like a cross but i could be wrong, i specialize in mini rex. he'll need his left ear tattooed and you should learn showmanship wweather or not you'll compete in showmanship to be able to looks for faults and disorders in your rabbit. if you want more help feel free to email me @ rodinstephanie@yahoo.com

also my rabbit site has some show tips under good to know

ahh i just thought about this but if you just want to do showmanship your rabbit doesn't need to be pedigree! sorry i didn't add earlier.

  5. I think he would do good for a show rabbit dont listen to the woman above u only need to no that if u want to do showmanship for 4-h not demanded dont get dissaponted if u dont win u dont no what to expect and how many will be in the show.

contact me if u want with help or anything 7 bunnies and in 4-h

  6. I'm not quite sure.  The rabbit looks very young, so the soft fur will have to be shed off later.  It depends on the rabbit breed, however.  Standards in professional shows are judged in the following:

    General Type

    Body

    Head

    Ears

    Feet and Legs

    Bone

    Fur

    Color and Markings

    Condition

If your rabbit is purebred, you can check ARBA's "The Standard of Perfection" for its qualifications.  Good luck.
