Im getting Ace from a trainer/breeder i know, she sold Ace for over $1000 to some people , she checks on all her pups she found Ace tied to a 3 foot rope very skinny, with mange. she took him back, and filed charges, but she asked if i wanted him, i think she knew i wouldnt be able to say no, anyways i took my female and daughter over to meet him yesterday, and everything went great even though he's been through h**l with people, he still crawled up and layed his head on my daughters lap and fell asleep.

these pics were taken last week, a day after she took him back.he looks alot healthier already.

  1. I think he is so beautiful, I like the name Ace as well. I am a little concern that the owners and trainers both have given him a name.  Most breeders call their puppies puppy so when the new family have the puppy they can easily inprint the new name.

  2. He's a handsome boy.

I personally would change his name.  "Ace" is what his tormentors called him.

New name to go with a new life, and a new loving family!

OK.. well if that was his new name.. then I wouldnt change it if you like it.

  3. Awww Omg Very beautiful Pit. I am so Happy hes going to a better home now!

  4. He is really stunning!!! Ace has always been a favorite name of mine. Along with Monte and Kayne. Congrats, thanks for taking him in.

Do you have plans to show him? I know your dogs are working dogs(if I read correctly) will he be a working dog?

  5. I comend you on giving this cute dog a home.

I don't think there would be any problem in changing his name.  If you do, you might want to check out the sites listed below.  Parents.com (family life, pets, the best dog names) has 25 lists of dog names.  Funpetnames.com lists names alphabetically by name, meaning, type and gender.  They also have a section to browse by origin (ie german, spanish, latin).  Dog-paw-print.com has lists of 100 dog names, boy dog names, top pet names and more.  Have fun picking out a name for your new pit bull!

  6. He is very handsome. As for the name it's not a bad name i kind of like it, but after you get him i guess you can see what you and him both think of it.

I am so glad that she is a good breeder and found him before it was to late.

Also thumbs up to you as well for taken him cause there are some people who would not do it after knowing what he went threw. :)

  7. Gorgous. I know if we were offered another pit we couldnt turn it down. From the sounds of it he'll make a great new addition to the family and have a great new life. And I like the name Ace.. it's better than the typical "Lucky" for a dog in his situation.

  8. He's lovely!  This name is good, if that's what he's used to I wouldn't change it.

  9. All I can said is God bless you for helping this poor creature, they are so cute I love them, I don't think you need to change her name that don't make any different for her she is more happy now, hope this bad people was report and get punish for what they did, Please take care of them

  10. he is really pretty

pit bulls are my favorite breed of dog

they are awesome despite their reputation

i dont know why everyone doenst like them
