What do you think of my website's layout?

It took me a while to write all of the HTML (I don't want to spend money on fancy programs), but I was basically looking for a layout that would be easy to use and I'm still tweaking it. I realize some parts don't work on other browsers, and I haven't added much content yet. By the way I pay for this site. Suggestions welcome. http://www.jessapalooza.com

  1. I really like good information alot of reading material

  2. I really like it. It looks like you worked really hard on it! Me, I'm lazy and use freewebs so good job!

  3. A bit too narrow, Picture on the top could be a bit smaller, but other than that you did a great job!

  4. Love the color scheme, because I'm a big fan of fall. The picture header is slightly big, even when I do a full screen view. It's fine, but some people have peeves about scrolling to read. The overall layout is very simple, and you have nice content. Overall, a 9.5 out of 10. Good job! :D

  5. It's a bad practice for top banner to occupy whole page... You should make it as narrow as possible so that people can see what your site is about without scrolling down.

  6. very nice! looks like u put alot of hard work into it

  7. i like the color scheme

  8. I think its great.  My only suggestion is to add a pic to your daily blog entries. Maybe a pic of a new discovery each day.  Everybody loves pics :)

  9. i like it

    it preety cool

  10. Not bad i like it its simple yet fun. Most ppl on here ask to look at there website and its just ugly but i like what your doing keep it up.

  11. It looks nice.

  12. Pretty good, no glaring web-design mistakes.

However, you might want to decrease the size of the picture of leaves at the top. On lower-resolution screens, you have to scroll down before you see ANY content.
