What do you think of people who call others "oxymorons" as a form of abuse?

What do you think of people who call others "oxymorons" as a form of abuse? What does it say about those who use it? Personally I find it offensive and ignorant but what do you think?

I find your questioning a little redundant.  I think one question on name calling would suffice but do we have to get into each name.

I find someone that calls another person an oxymoron well a moron.  Moron of course meaning a person who is notably stupid or lacking in good judgment.  The reason I would see them as a Moron is because they would have improperly used the term oxymoron. Oxymoron means A rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined, as in a deafening silence and a mournful optimist. Thus a person can not be an oxymoron but could say something that was oxymoronic.

An oxymoron?  I have never heard someone call another person and oxymoron so I am unsure...a moron, yes...hypocritical...yes.  But not an oxymoron.

Do you mean like girly-boy? I think it is offensive that people try to personalize insults, it seems to me that if someone has to use verbal abuse to hurt, it is more than likely they are jealous or have very little self esteem. The best thing for a person to do is try to ignore it, and if that will not work, find someone of authority to speak to them on your behalf.

Name callers are another form of bully, and bullies are cowards.
