What do you think of political bumper stickers?

I'm starting to see a lot of them. I can understand why, but do political bumper stickers actually influence anyone, or do they mainly just show support?

so long as they are pro war good for them... if you see anybody with an anti-war sticker shoot them on site as well as their family... because you really can hug with firearms!

They just show support really, people who want to let it be known who they support. Other than that, they are a little bit pointless in my opinion.

They allow me to disrespect supporters of the opposition and be rude to them on the road.

They are a waste of paper and glue ... at best they are a distraction

Every town has that one liberal with 50 political bumper stickers covering every available square inch of the backside of their VW Jetta.  I am not influenced by them unless you count my resolve to vote Republican strengthen a little bit more each time I see it.

On the flip side I did see an old Dodge truck in D.C. yesterday with a bumper sticker that said:

                     "Former Fetus On Board"

I actually liked that one.

They show support for a candidate or a political issue. It is a form of freedom of speech.On ocassion a bumpsticker even makes people think!
