What do you think of "professional panhandlers"? Those are people who are not homeless or destitue asking for money on the streets as a living basically. Oddly enough, writer Arthur Conan Doyle wrote "professional panhandlers" more than 100 years ago in one of his Sherlock Holmes short stores called The Man With The Twisted Lip. It's been going on for that long.

You can see it two ways , I believe. (1) It's lazy, sad, and hurts the believablity of true people in need. (2) It's actually smart and crafty, because a professional panhandler can make twice the amount of money someone on minimum wage or even $10.00 an hour can make in a year.
Either option you choose, shows something wrong. Option one shows something wrong with the person lying for free donation money. And the second option shows how out-of-whack are wages and employers are in the USA.
