I have always been out spoken and such my whole life about what i believe in.(animal rights)So i don't think anything negative about people when i see them protesting or potitioning unless its against my beliefs. But other than that im totaly back them up and suport them, cause i know how hard it is to be out there and do that when you gain nothing from it but self satisfactory, which is of course enough for me.But anyways,i know people dont like us,after being disrespected and yelled at,and spit on,and threatened and so on.So i would just like to know whats the problem?whats the big deal all were doing is standing up for what we veieve in.if you get so angry as to do that to us,why dont you go and stand up for what you believe in in some way that will get somewhere, like us?dont you think that we can be doing more fun things instead of waving signs around and looking physco,so we have to be doing for a real good reason, wouldn't you think?idk how else to put it,so ill just leave it at that

  1. I am not a fan of code pink or the WBC, but other than that I think protesters play a vital role in our society.

  2. The right to assemble and protest belongs to every American.  I remember the Vietnam war and the protests it spawned, and I applauded them.  Like the Iraq war, it was a bad one and unpopular, to say the least.  The protests grew, and grew large enough to effect an end to the war!

  3. i think you gain a lot more then self gratification that at least your voice was heard. if more people actually stood up for what they believe in, maybe we could gain a lot of ground in making a real difference instead of politely accepting the alternative.

  4. in this day and in this age, there needs to be many more protests...too bad people are too lazy to take a stand for what they say they believe in.

The protests of the 60's changed this country...I guess no one cares now...

  5. i love protesters because they have enough guts to stand up for what they believe in and speak up against authority that is usually insane anyways.
