1. I love the name Tamsin. It's one of the edgy, daring girls names that I find myself recommending a lot on this forum. It's an under-used, semi-traditional name (well, it's a contracted form of Thomasina, which originates from Thomas) with a crisp, fresh sound. It's one of my favourite names. The name Perrin is nice too. Like Tamsin, it's a nice sounding, under-used name with a crisp, modern sound.

3. When you and your partner have the same letter at the beginning of your names? Uh, I think it can be overbearingly cute at times, but it's not the couples fault. Your parents don't choose your name with your future partners in mind. And I don't choose potential partners based on their name. My name is Lauren and my boyfriend's name is Liam. In some ways it's nice, (a) the names are both two syllables and (b) they're alliterative. But it can sound too 'sing-songy'.
