What do you think of " Iris Lucille " for a baby girl name?

I've always loved both of those names...but not really together. They don't flow.

I love iris but hate lucille, it makes me think of an old lady and as a dated name.  I don't think it flows too well either, but Iris is so nice of a name.

Iris Lucille is a wonderful name. Iris is spunky and full of personality while Lucille is classic and really grounds the combo.

My cousin's little girl's name is Iris. To be honest I did not like it at first, but in 3 years it has really grown on me.

I love it now. It is such a beautiful name. A little different, yet not trendy. Lucille flows very well for a middle name. It's very "pretty" IYKWIM.

While combined together it might not be a very "baby" name, she certainly don't stay a baby forever. You'll find cutesy nicknames if that's your thing. My kids' nicknames mostly have nothing to do with their names anyway.

Good luck. After the first few "ideas" for my first child I stopped even asking people's opinions of names... I found their approval/disapproval too much for me to swallow (and my MOTHER was the WORST!! Though she'd deny it like mad). What matters is you find a name you will like for the rest of your daughter's life.

Original but classic at the same time- good choice; and I would definitely keep Iris as the 1st name.

I think it's beautiful!  Iris is such a lovely name - very uncommon, but gorgeous none the less.  Lucille is wonderful as well - it's classic and smart.  It's a great compliment, it flows.

I think it's a great name that any girl would be lucky to have.

I think its pretty and different, the names are usual, but not the way you put them together! Very uncommon, but unique.

I'd swap it around for Lucille Iris- then bub could get Luci...sounds very nice, anyway its your choice in the end :)

I really like it. Iris reminds me of the Goo Goo Dolls song, which is one of my favorite songs by them. Lucille is cute, but with the nickname Lucy in case she doesn't like Iris.
