  1. I feel for the girl, for the boy however, he had no business climbing a fence?  That was just stupid, on his part.

However with that being said, doesnt change my opinion of rollercoasters, just because you clicked a few links of Youtube up.

The girl was a freak accident.

  2. It WAS Six Flags' fault for not properly maintaining the ride (it was a drop tower, not a roller coaster) where the girl's feet were cut off. Six Flags just won't admit it.

And it WAS the boy's fault because he jumped not ONE fence with danger signs on it, but he jumped TWO fences. It is not Six Flags' fault that the kid didn't pay attention to the danger signs posted on the fences. He should have left the hat where it was.

  3. What the boy did was stupid

the girl  it wasnt her fault

Although now Im scared to go to six flags

  4. Both are very tragic; I do admit I have more sympathy for the young girl as she did nothing to deserve such a tragedy.  The boy on the other hand was old enough to know what he was doing was wrong as there were signs and 2 fences.  I am sorry that he lost his life and feel for his parents.  Regardless of the amount of federal or state or insurance company inspections on rides at theme parks there will always be accidents.  Everyone should know they are taking a risk when riding a ride at a theme park.  But driving to the park is actually more dangerous than riding the rides.  People take risks everyday.  Taking a shower is a risk people slip and fall in the shower all the time; often time injuring themselves.  Crossing the street is a risk.  You just have to weigh the risk and decide if you are will to accept it.  Personally, I like risks.  I love roller coasters, sky diving, riding motorcycles all of which carry risks but that's me.

  5. I'm just gonna be more careful when i go to six flags this summer. I'm gonna try to not think of that girl or that boy.

  6. Yes that happening to the girl scares me but I'm still going to ride roller coasters.  You can't let that stop you and I'm just going to make sure I won't ride those types of rides.  There is no way you could get your feet cut off by a roller coaster.
