What do you think of the 1992 suzuki gsxr 600, as a first bike and to ride around town in?

I am getting a very good deal on it, and want to make sure im getting my money worth, i read a couple review that said it was pretty good.

  1. 600's that old are not nearly as powerful as newer models.  i learned on a 600, you will be fine.

    like the previous poster said, I would not pay a lot for it because you could be re-investing money into it when it breaks down.

  2. A mature person can start on a 600 just fine. The bike is a little bit old. I would have a mechanic look it over before buying. Don't pay more than $1200 for it either. A1992 GSXR cannot be any more expensive than that in any condition.

    Reviews don't mean anything. It all depends on how well the previous ten owners treated the bike.

  3. Whoaaa buddy! A 600cc as a starting bike?! That's a bit heavy!

    Personally, I don't think the bike is that hot - a bit fugly if you ask me. Secondly, it's way to old.

    Get a RVF 400 NC35, way hotter bike.
