What do you think of the AR15 I am building?

I'm building my first AR 15 from parts:

So far I've assembled a Spike's Tactical Lower receiver. I've got a CMMG 20" Government profile flat top upper with a chrome lined barrel and chamber in a 1/7 twist on the way. I'm going to use a detachable carry handle for the time being until I can get an ACOG TA31RCO-A4. I'll probably free float the hand guard with a LaRue railed set too when I get more $.

So Yahoo crew let me know what you think of my creation.

Is that legal? Are we allowed to build guns in our homes in the US?

Sounds good --- Do your self a favor and don't  "tacticalize" it too much... I saw this guy at the gun club with an AR loaded up with lazers, pistol foregrips, night vision gear, flashlights and all kinds of stuff.... It looked totally stupid... In a brief conversation with this guy he mentioned he has no girlfriend and his whole ego was wrapped up in his rifle.... What a stroker!!!  He looked like a straight up dweeb that couldn't get a little lady suntin suntin if his life depended on it....

Be sensible... Keep your rifle sweet, simple and to the point...

I guess it is ok.. i myself like the ones that look like the M16A2 standard with none of this tactical stuff. but hey if that is the type you like then go for it..

Chrome lined is nice but accuracy will be better with an un-lined or SS. Guess it depends on if your plinking or paper punching.
