  1. Out of the two Adelaide teams,  I'd have to say I prefer the Crows.   I don't what it is about Port.    Maybe it's their coach or their jumper or their team song ( Yeah.  That's it.  "We'll never stop, stop, stop  till we're  top, top, top."   My God that's lame! )   Plus the Crows have got McLeod.   And you've gotta have respect for him.

  2. I must admit, the corws are pretty d**n good. They definately make the finals.

They have many talented palyers eg. Andrew McCleod, Ben Rutten, Scott Thompson.

It won't be too long before a premiership is in sight.

    but....

    GO THE DOGGIES!

P.S. We took Hudson and Welsh from you.

  3. I live in Adelaide and i love the crows they are one of the best sides and usually hard to beat i think power are the most anoying (Even their song) but i think a team is a team no matter how bad they are or how good they are

  4. I really don't know why people in South Australia follow that pathetic AFL game? Its a useless sport for cowards who aren't tough enough to play Rugby League or Union.

  5. a pack of licorice allsorts .... i mean look at that bloody jumper!

  6. i'm from Western Australia, and as a Fremantle fan.. i'm a bit

'out with the old, in with the new'

so that means i prefer dockers over eagles, and port adelaide over adelaide sorry =P

but adelaide is generally accepted over here i think, if you say you like adelaide, i dont think you're going to get mugged while you're walking home or anything!

adelaide is usually pretty exciting to watch aswell i think

  7. I'm still at a loss as to why they would call themselves Crows.  Crows are an annoying bird.

  8. its not the crows i have a problem with

    its their supporters

why do they clap for so long when the ball goes out of bounds

when they win the toss they go off (what the)

  9. bird

  10. Nth Melb fan in Adelaide. I personally think they are highly over-rated by the SA media. They have a few stars, Ben Rutten being one of them. I think they have made a huge mistake with Simon Goodwin as captain, not for on-field, but his off-field discretions (assaulting a journo, and betting on AFL matches) should have ruled him out of even being in the 'leadership' of the club. Yes they will make the finals, but they are not going to come close to the Hawks or the Cats. As for the supporters, there are a large number of them who simply follow Adelaide because they are from SA (fair enough) but know nothing about football. I worked at Footy Park for a number of years in amongst the crowd and the ignorance shown by their supporters as to what a mark, holding the ball, in the back, etc. means is unbelievable. Just my opinion though.

  11. Im a Collingwood supporter and live in Melbourne but i love the Crows. i hated them last year but now i like them. of course when they play the Pies ill barrack for the Pies but yea i think they are an overall good team with good players.

  12. God is probably not a word I'd use....but they are a well coached and run team

    1) Strong membership base (with a long waiting list)

    2) Their stars are mostly clean living

    3) Good corporate image

    4) Good community image

    5) Good brand

    6) Recruiting is good

    .

  13. They are a good side for sure, i think they will be fighting out a top 4 place

  14. You know as much as I rib my SA b/f about them, they are not too bad. They have got a pretty solid history so far and have achieved quite a bit in their short AFL career. Also some very notable champions in the likes of Mark Bickley, Mark Ricciuto and the Jarmans.

One thing I do have to note as an interstate AFL fan is that most Crows fans walk out on their team before the end of games at Footy Park when they are in a no win position. Most are also agonisingly painful when their team wins but don't want to talk about footy whatsoever and sulk when the Crows lose.

Sorry but you did want an outside opinion.
