  1. The Government didn't lose it - a private "security" firm did.

  2. Sensitive or giving it away to mislead the enemy?

  3. Oh, I'm shocked!! Can't believe they'd be so incompetent (sarcasm)

  4. Well they have just spent millions on the biggest peoples Data bank in Europe, so now they are filling it by the best and quickest way.

  5. Frankly I'm surprised this sort of thing doesn't happen more often...

I mean think about all the different groups that have to have this info...

thousands offenders and every one needs to know who they are from the courts prole boards prison systems right down to the officer walking a beat.

forget the UK think about world wide and were talking millions of offenders. in the US there more people sitting in Jail right now then many small countries have in total population!

So they misplaced 33,000 names.... How many more I wounder went threw the system with no problems at all...its a drop in the bucket and there making a big noise about nothing...

I think Home Office does a very good job considering the pressure their under to keep everything working smoothly

  6. It just makes me feel better about having nothing but contempt for the government.

  7. Bet they don't lose the disc  showing their expenses though

  8. I think I'd quite like to be the commuter who found all those files on the train. That'd be worth a pretty penny, not to mention I'd get to feel like 007 for a little bit. :P

I don't feel secure regardless of whether or not the gov't loses my information.

  9. i can say i don't really feel secure. i mean, you have to give them this info but then they don't keep it safe?! argh... if someone stole my info and then tried to take my money or fake my id then i'd be well po. thankfully this hasn't happened yet that i know of but i guess it's just a matter of time.

  10. it seams the people who lose these items are just idiots. they should have a policy that they employ people like this....the end of this government is here....

  11. i think it's typical of 2days government. and i've come to expect it form them now so no surprises there
