What do you think of the JonBenet Ramsey ransom note?

Do you think that the writer did not intend to actually kidnap jonbenet but either already killed her or planned on killing her? Did they write the note to throw the police off so they wouldn't rope off the house right away and look for her body and evidence in the Ramsey house?

Let's assume that the note is fake. Why do some people think that proves that the Ramseys wrote it? Couldn't some intruder have an interest in throwing the police off too?

I think that we should let the poor girl rest in peace.  Let the authorities do their investigating, but it's about time we (and that includes the media) got on with our lives..
